Renfors is a very dense fabric made by plain-weaving twisted warp and weft threads. Despite its high density, this material is exceptionally soft and has a silky texture.
Fabric properties:
- Strength and durability: the high quality of the fabric is achieved through the prolonged, multi-stage processing of cotton fibers. This gives the fabric an especially strong structure that is unaffected by numerous washes or years of use.
- Comfort: on hot summer nights, it creates a feeling of coolness, while in winter it helps keep you warm.
- Hygroscopicity: the material is hygroscopic and absorbs moisture exceptionally well (up to twenty percent of its own weight), so sleeping on bed linen made from it is not accompanied by a “greenhouse effect”: the sleeper will never perspire.
- Breathability: by allowing air to pass through well, it lets your skin breathe.
- Wrinkle resistance: products made from renfors barely wrinkle and always look attractive.
