Description: The traditional Turkish towel for a hammam is called a peshtemal. A PESHTEMAL is a traditional Turkish textile made of 100% cotton and decorated with fringe, usually in red and blue checkered patterns (stripes in the Turks’ favorite colors). You can wrap yourself in it completely, take it into the steam room, or spread it over the sıcak stone (hot stone) in a Turkish hammam and lie on it. Peshtemals can be used in many establishments: hotels, resorts, entertainment centers, spas, swimming pools, gyms and massage salons. Your guests will be satisfied. A peshtemal is an excellent alternative to terry towels, especially in summer. Very soft and lightweight. A peshtemal is a fashionable, original and versatile accessory for relaxing in the sun. It can serve as a towel, pareo or lounger cover at the beach, on a yacht or by the pool. It takes up very little space in your bag or wardrobe—just roll it up, put it in your handbag and you are ready to go! Dries quickly and looks great. Very lightweight and versatile, and convenient to carry. An ideal choice for tourists and travelers. Use it as protection from the sun. Absorbs water well. One touch is enough to dry your body. Environmentally friendly and safe. Less cotton is used in the production of peshtemals. As a result, less energy, water and detergent are consumed. Can be washed frequently without losing its strength or color. Can be used on the beach; it does not let sand through. Can be used by both women and men (unlike a pareo). Composition and production: 100% natural cotton. Peshtemal dimensions: 180*100 cm or 190*100 cm, 90x160 Peshtemals are woven from yarns of different colors, with tassels made at the ends. The best peshtemals are made in Turkey. The “Zerontextile” company offers a huge selection of Turkish factory-made textiles from the most renowned brands.
