Description: The traditional Turkish hammam towel — peshtemal. PESHTEMAL is a traditional Turkish textile made of 100% cotton and decorated with fringe, usually featuring red and blue checks or stripes in popular Turkish colors. You can wrap yourself in it completely or take it into the steam room, lay it on the sıcak taş (hot stone) in a Turkish hammam and lie on it. Peshtemals can be used in many establishments: hotels, entertainment centers, spas, swimming pools, gyms and massage salons. Your guests will be delighted. A peshtemal is an excellent alternative to terry towels, especially in summer. Very soft and lightweight. A peshtemal is a stylish, original and versatile accessory for relaxing in the sun. It can serve as a towel, pareo or lounger cover at the beach, on a yacht or by the pool. It takes up very little space in your bag or wardrobe — roll it up, put it in your handbag and you're ready to go! Dries quickly and looks great. Very lightweight and versatile, making it comfortable to carry. An ideal choice for tourists and travelers. Use it as protection from the sun. Absorbs water well. One touch is enough to dry the body. Eco-friendly and safe. Less cotton is used in the production of peshtemals, which means less energy, water and detergent are consumed. Can be washed frequently without losing its strength or color. Can be used at the beach as a beach mat and does not let sand through. Can be used by both women and men (unlike a pareo). Composition and production: 100% natural cotton. Peshtemal sizes: 180*100 cm or 190*100 cm, 90х160 Peshtemals are woven from yarns of different colors, with tassels made at the ends. The finest peshtemals are made in Turkey.
